I'm trying to install Nero 8 on a Sony Vaio notebook. The computer previously have Nero 6 installed. I unistalled Nero 6 I also delete the nero folder within program files and secret nero folders surrounded by documents and settings. I delete nero registry entries. After rebooting the system, A prompt warn me that within be still traces of Nero 6 on the computer, and that they must be removed since I can install Nero 8.
Where could those traces of Nero 6 be?? How would I dance in the order of removing them?
Answers: I'm also on a Sony Vaio notebook. I installd Nero8 a couple weeks ago and I have matching problem next to getting rid of Nero7.
If you goto nero.com, in attendance is a cleanup utility that you can download from near. The cleanup utility will prod for the journal of nero you want to bring rid of, and it wil completly delete it from your system.

point to Support > click on downloads
Under "Tools and Utilities" click cleantools
very soon download the cleantool you want to use. I don't see one on here for nero6 but I muse nero 5 or nero 7 should work. Nero 8 cleantool might also work.
