Here is what is stirring: 1) I create an Excel document. 2) I create a Hyperlink to other documents in the Excel document I created. 3) I after copy the Excel document and the supporting Hyperlinked documents to a cd. 4) I later amenable the Excel document on another computer from the cd. 5) I try to break open the hyperlink I created in the Excel document but the root Hyperlink address still points to my computer and not the supporting document on the cd. Iam trying to add a hyperlink so that when I copy the excel document next to the supporting hyperlinked documents to a disc, the hyperlink in the excel will still unfurl when I use the disc on a different computer.
Answers: You own to shift the hyperlink to the database directory that you are looking for. In your luggage instead of
C://my documents/folder 1/document.doc
You own to label it
D://folder 1/document.doc
The hyperlink will not work on your computer. But it will on the cd.
Try this. Burn some documents to cd in a folder. Add a hyperlink to excel pointing to the D: drive document. Insert the cd into the drive and later click the hyperlink. It works.
Now, you own to specify the knit minus the D: drive referrence and afterwards burn everything to a cd. The links should hold.
You know Hyper knit is linking between two external document of ms-office or net page! So surrounded by your luggage what is come to pass you burn you c.d for excel not for the subsequent document which you interconnect beside resembling word,db,dbms(access).so if you want that your linking should work for that you own to burn both document or application.
