I enjoy Kubuntu installed and i also installed Ubuntu next to the adept organizer. I want the ginger ubuntu eyeshade to be the primary passageway to login.not the blue Kubuntu...How to please?
Answers: You probably want to use GDM fairly than KDM.
Start near:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm
It should provide you the route of GDM or KDM. Go near GDM if you want the standard ubuntu login eyeshade.
If that fail or you dont see gdm as an chance try:
sudo apt-get install gdm

sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm
