They should be automatically set to 1" on the top and bottom already. The sides are usually set at 1.25" but you can erase that and type in a "1".

Load Office Word. There are 2 ruler guides perceptible (top and departed paw side). Double click on the ruler guide on the moved out side. You should consequently see the outside edge settings. Change them for doesn`t matter what settings you craving.
