I want a polite music making program to kind my own industrial/ techno/ pace type of music. I don't want one that just provides you beat, I want to generate them myself!

The hardest and best ones are Cu Base and Reason3
i use Reason3 but it take a long time to swot up and you enjoy to turn through the guide again and again and again for months but it is worth it in the long Run.
Most the stuff you hear is done on Cu Base and Reason3
Garage Band and Tractor are virtuous if you don't want to spend too long making one and don't want to revise it properly.
They already hold the synth,drum,measure loops etc so you lately put them over respectively other whereas the others ,Cu Base and Reason you create them yourself.
Personally if you close to music (really close to music) acquire the best ones and within a few years if you can use these programmes properly,i am sure you can use them not merely for fun but can in fact generate something out of it.
I own newly finished my second track on Reason 3 and it kick!
It's a bouncy electro track!
