I'm guessing you're on Windows because of the track you said Itunes and i-tunes. I'll explain both ways however.
On Windows, the iTunes library is in your "My Music" folder. Insert your external tough drive, and open out it up. Now walk to your My Documents directory, and from here to the My Music directory.
