Where is Windows Server in principal used? and what nouns differences/tech differences

Answers: Windows servers are expected to be set up as domain controllers, to be exact surrounded by control of a meet people that's set up to be a client-server see. Windows 98 is a single user operating system which is still, despite it's outward appearance, DOS. Windows XP Home edition is a single user system, which cannot fuse a domain, but can be set up in a peer to peer meet people (workgroup) acting as both client and server. Windows XP Professional can be set up to associate a domain, or can be used in a peer to peer meet people (workgroup), or can be a stand alone system.
A server is effective of handling (part of) a framework, while XP , 98 etc. are but one division of it.

Also, if you want games etc - don`t use server OS`s. They are controlled within that aptitude - and wouldn`t pedal bulky graphics or other activity specific things.
