This procedure one other have to complete to disconnect external hardwares. I want to know if i am still using that device and statue from system tray bring disappeared later how can I remove that singular device(for instance, pen drive or iPod)
Another point, If that devices cannot go and get disconnected even after clicking on " Safe to remove hardware" (if some programs still use the drive) consequently putting computer on "Hibernate" or "Shut Down" the PC can solve the problem or not? I tight, Is that produce the device to
remove soundly?
And record I enjoy read adjectives the previous answers asked within SafeFeel.coms but near is no single impressive answer.
All giving answers similar to walk surrounded by properties, check "show the taskabar icon" and various other useless answers. But at hand is not a one potent answer
Answers: Re:
wll response for ur gratitude and comments
Wll virus is not an issue that I mull over one is not aware of if one using computer and internet as very well. The chief motto to make a payment this is to solely that we cant remove the devices if they are surrounded by use as it is next to files (when using not delete , editing , renaming of files allowed)
and in that is zilch serious if you remove the device minus using without risk remove hardware or as i suggested turn rotten the system also turn bad the device so its same as unplugging the device in need without risk remove but contained by this covering using of resourse is handle by (END NOW) beforehand turning sour the system (by failure to pay it is asked for any appn if it fail to stop midstream within winxp)
seeking more comments n read my answer thoroughly and degree it too

first of adjectives i want to mention that at hand is no big issue for removing undamagingly your pen drives and adjectives if you know that u r not using any files on that however if u still want to remove budge to favour mediator and check it out that wheter any process still running to examine your pen drive or any other device (some times process running on surroundings dont agree to you know that they are using resources) it may be a virus attack as simple as sometimes floppy disk jammed when inserted to the disk drive...
so simply remove that device even i prefer to do right now because it may be a virus (exe on your pen drive) and curropting your system :-(((
in the final plz quality my answer which ignite me to minister to and answer more
however shutting down the computer and rebooting in locked mode may give a hand you for undamagingly removing the device but interestingly i agree to u know vitally why it is needed...
basicaly any usb device achieve powered from that usb port solely not near external plugs so when u turned sour your system sense that the device power also gone and presently if you asking that after rebooting the system (which also reboots your device) is a funny entry to do basicaly y we use soundly remove the hardware is solitary to plug it past its sell-by date (nothing more)..
Is it not dangerous?
do you even hold a clue what to do?
resourcefully after do it.
and if it fail a sledge hammer will fix adjectives.
Most USB devices can only just be unplugged as long as you're not surrounded by the middle of something. It's better to use the without risk remove hardware but entirely essential.
The deity from the system tray is not disappearing it's newly undetected. The system tray will hair icon that haven't be used within a long time. Click the little arrow to the not here of the system tray icon and it will show the rest of the icon. The "click to without risk remove hardware" statue will be at hand.
For Win XP, in actuality you are nontoxic satisfactory to newly unplug any external devices in need doing anything else.
However, in Win 2K, or you want to be safer in XP, you'd better stop the device using "Safely Remove Hardware", as you mentioned. The mundane common sense for not allowing you to remove it is that the device is currently used by some processes. Thus, a Restart and a Log Off will see you to do that at most of the times, but not by Hibernate.
Hope this can sustain a bit.
There is an odds contained by window that determines if facts is written right away to USB devices or whether it is cached and written after that. The first type is sometimes referred to brisk eject, since after the writing of facts is done, you can efficiently unplug the device.
Found surrounded by the device superintendent, (control panel -- system -- hardware) for your removable device:
*Optimize for fast removal to disable write caching on the storage device and in Windows. This allows you to remove the device short using the Safely Remove Hardware application, but can enjoy an impact on the narration of the device.
*Optimize for working to see write caching in Windows, which can promote the working of the storage device. However, you must use the Safely Remove Hardware application to disconnect the device from the computer.
I find your request for information a tad confusing, so tolerate me freshly right to be heard largely:
With USB external devices, it is best to click the deity to "without risk remove" and skulk to be told it is undisruptive up to that time removing that singular device.
To use it again, in like session, a moment ago reinsert it.
Some - not adjectives - external storage, if you read their literature, tell you not to bestow the USB device plugged surrounded by - but to remove it at shutdown.
I own a couple USBs that I leave your job plugged surrounded by constantly. I enjoy others that I use for transport. I hold still another that I must remove at shutdown.
Generally speaking, if you plan to remove a USB device for transport, "undamagingly remove" it first. I would not remove it while the PC is contained by hibernation or anything else.
