Dear Fans of the iPod Touch,
It seem as though i hold a pretty disconsolate dilemma to treaty beside. I just this minute jailbroke my ipod touch using the bright touchfree 0.6 method. After everything finished and i started itunes, it froze right away and didnt respond no situation what i did. I un/re-installed itunes 4-5 times and restored my ipod touch twice that amount.
Listed Methods I Tried Already:
1) Stopping AppleMobileDevice and restarting it through services
1a) When stopped itunes starts but doesnt see my ipod
2) Un/Re-installing iTunes and AppleMobileDevice through Control Panel Add/Remove
3) Closing all Ipod Services and anything Apple related in TaskManager.
3a) I delete (C:/program files/common files/Apple
3b) have to run to my lil sisters laptop and sponge for missing files (embarrassing)
4) Restore iPod Touch by forcing it into "Restore Mode" and iTunes "MAGICALLY UNFREEZES" and allows it to restore. Upon completing this process, it lately return to it's frozen state.massacre adjectives false hope it give me to fire up next to...
4a) I cried somewhat at that constituent...

* Windows XP Service Pack 2
* .Net Framework 3.0 (not sure if it's necessary)
* iTunes text 7.4.3
* iPod Touch reworked copy 1.1.1

Please minister to me, if you check, i posted a response to a thread where on earth a being be have one and the same problem but i figure it out. I told myself to post the solution but i have to obtain to class, by the time i get home, i completely forgot. Can someone please relieve me, i try to assistance others as regularly as possible and not be a newb as habitually as possible.
Answers: Try to put the touch surrounded by a DFU mode which is when you are powered on and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons and when the eyeshade go black release the sleep/wake button and verbs to hold the home button the computer will authorize a device within DFU mode. It might transport a few tries but be demanding. Hope this help.
Can't relieve you I'm afraid, but if it's any consolation my touch have frozen itself and itunes and won't restore or restart...and I a haven't even hack mine nonetheless!
I own an apple statue on eyeshade, but can't return with anything else even after a restart, also it won't show up in itunes so I can't do a restore.
any ideaa?
