DVD+R burning programs??

I have need of a program that can burn AVI files to DVD+R disks please...Ive tried alot of programs (including Nero, CDBurnerXP, and some others) but it never burns it and I thought it be mete out it be for burning to DVD-R disk, which I dont own..Could anyone any recommend a program thatll work or bestow some counsel please?

Answers: u want to be sure ur burner itself supports the disk type ...
