No want to format your entire drive.. You can set up a multi-boot system if you allocate a hedge for the OS.. I recommend a minimum of 10 Gb.
Use Partition Magic, it's the best for this sort of stuff.
Then reboot from the OS cd.. Install in the wall you merely created.
put in the window disk past you turn it on, should ask you some question after, choose format, this will wipe your drive, and anything you enjoy on it. consequently you can choose install. but you might be better past its sell-by date takeing it to a local tech, they for a few bucks may be capable of generate xp
