Are the contents within Wiki referenceable?

Can I quote Wiki as a source of information?

Answers:    I do a lot of research and I use wikipedia on instant to find references to reputable journal. But wikipedia itself is not a reliable reference, directly.
Yes, but be exceedingly carfull, anyone can edit it, and it will most of the time is not hugely reliable, for important projects, use other sites.
Not surrounded by a research paper. Anyone can expurgate it, I have and I am not an iota sort of encyclopedia writer. Although I have written closely of research papers and you can't cite it.
You can cite it, but not as a reliable source. Wikis can be edited by anyone and so the information can be incorrect. Many professors and teachers will not adopt any Wiki as a reference for this grounds.
as the previous person said, to be precise true. for information on items, its a great recource. but for dates, do not jump there!
yes but be cautious if u are doing a research paper and your guru or professer says not to use wiki lately dont use it instead use a database
I don't think that it is adjectives very accurate, because anyone can walk on and change things on near
Yes you can. If it's for a research paper, it may not be official, so you might want to check. Also, Wiki should not be your sole knowledge source, nor should you use it in need skimming over other related content. Though problems are corrected pretty quickly, in attendance is always the casual that an error will slip through the cracks.

Basically, use with advise, but Wiki is definitely credible contained by my book.
