The people that expurgate wikipedia SUCK!
Instead of making anything simple they will give the most hi-tech definition of anything and everything. They can get specific but they FAIL as a service if they simple convolute things within the name of industrial accuracy. They stipulation to keep it simple and progress to the complex.
Agree?
Answers: Wikipedia does zilch. They have some minor supervision of content for correctness so it could be considered a sensible source for, say, status school or lofty school homework research, but it is not a primary source of information, and whether a specific article is too detailed have nothing to do near Wikipedia as an entity.
In any given instance, the level of detail is solely determined by the contributor. The reality that you can then (at smallest in theory) move about in and expurgate it to a level that you be aware of more comfortable with is a trunk reason why wikipedia should not be cited as a source within serious research - nothing is truly and reliably attributable to anyone.
